José David Reus began his career as a DJ at the age of 18, working with vinyl and spinning all kinds of music in fashionable venues.
In 1989, he opened his own club, Disco-Pub Latino, where he consolidated his passion for music and the art of energizing the dance floor.
For several years, he hosted a weekly radio show dedicated to the latest in the disco scene, presenting new releases and trends in the genre. He also trained in acting for film and theater, taking part in short films and stage productions.
Tango has always been present in his life thanks to the influence of his maternal grandfather, who came from San Juan, Argentina. This connection led him, in 2005, to undertake a meticulous project of collecting and remastering tangos, waltzes, and milongas. His music collection, carefully curated, stands out for its excellent sound quality, specially designed for the most demanding dancers.
With more than 18 years of experience DJing at milongas, encuentros, marathons, and tango festivals across Spain and in several European countries – including France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Hungary, and Norway – he has established himself as a highly respected figure in the tango world.
In 2008, he founded the successful milonga La Pasional in Benidorm, where he continues to work regularly as resident DJ. This venue, deeply rooted in the tango community, remains to this day a reference point for its authentic atmosphere and carefully curated music.
In addition to being a DJ, he is also a dancer, teacher, and event organizer. His broad experience in the world of tango enables him to create musical sets that not only invite people to dance, but also transmit emotion, maintaining the energy and creativity that every moment of a milonga requires.
His solid trajectory as a professional DJ has taken him to some of the most prestigious milongas and events, both nationally and internationally, where he always leaves his personal mark – a combination of energy, elegance, and a deep musical sensitivity that connects directly with the dance floor and the audience.
